This week:
Wednesday, Take Our Kids to Work (all grade 9 students)
- All grade 9 students will either be on a work placement or working from home on the TOKW modules on Wednesday, extra permission slips are available from the main office, or your grade 9 homeroom teacher. The TOKW module link will be sent when we receive it from EECD.
- There are no scheduled classes for grade 9 students on Wednesday, as their teachers have been designated to other opportunities during the day.
Wednesday, MHS Future Career Expo (Grade 10-11-12 students)
- While the grade 9 students are at Take Our Kids to Work, Students in grades 10-11-12 will be participating in career focused booths and breakout sessions presented by more than 50 educational institutions, businesses, and government sectors for periods 1-4. Students will attend homeroom and period 5 after lunch.
- Lunch will be at 1:15 – 2:15 on Wednesday.
- If students were unable to sign up for breakout sessions, there will be session sheets in homeroom on Wednesday for those organizations that have places available.
Friday, November 7th & Remembrance Week
- Our Remembrance Day Assemblies will be very special again this year with MHS style and special dignitaries invited. We will have 4 grade level assemblies. Period 2 – Grade 9’s, Period 3 – Grade 10’s, Period 4 – Grade 11’s, and Period 5 – Grade 12’s.
Monday, November 10th
- Professional Development Day – No School for Students
