As we approach Remembrance Day, we would like to take a moment to honor and reflect on the sacrifices made by those who have served and continue to serve our country. This special day provides us a meaningful opportunity to remember their bravery and commitment.
From the Office:
- Monday, November 10th is a professional development day. No school for students.
- Tuesday, November 11th is Remembrance Day. No school.
- Thursday, November 13th – First Coffee House of the year.
Parent Teacher Conferences:
- Thursday, November 20th (6-8pm) – No appointment necessary
- On the morning of Friday, November 21st, subject teachers will be contacting parents who are unable to attend the parent-teacher conference on Thursday or prefer to connect via phone or email. Please complete the form to request contact from your child’s subject teacher. It is not necessary to have a meeting with your child’s homeroom teacher.
- Parent Teacher Sessions – Phone Call Sessions (Friday, November 21st) – Fill out form (Deadline to submit a request is Wednesday, November 19th)
From Public Health:
REMINDER: Vaccination against meningitis (Men-C-ACYW-135) for Grade 9 students
During the school year, Public Health nurses will be offering a school vaccination clinic for Grade 9 students.
Follow the instructions below, regardless of whether you are accepting or refusing this vaccine for your child:
- Read the vaccine fact sheet found at this link: Protect your child against meningitis disease
- Complete and submit the online consent form before 21st of November 2025 using this link: www.snb.ca/vaccine
- Submit only ONE form per child.
